What is Wyld Rivals?
Wyld Rivals is a tournament universe of realistic, cinematic animal battles. Real species. Real biology. Every fight happens in the home fighter's wild backyard — the tiger in the forest, the alligator in the swamp, the kangaroo on the plain. Every creature, from the tiniest penguin to the mightiest elephant, has a place on Earth. That's the whole point. Who's your champion? Who's your rival?
Are the animals real?
The species, biology, ecology, body mass and combat behaviour are all real and sourced from peer-reviewed zoology. The footage is AI-generated — we don't stage real animal encounters. The point is to ask honest matchup questions with the best science we have, not to put animals in danger.
How are the battles made?
Each fighter is built from a hand-picked image library that locks the animal's identity — reference shots, portraits and habitat scenes that keep the same tiger looking like the same tiger across every frame. Every frame is fact-checked against peer-reviewed biology before it ships. Battle scenes are rendered with cinematic AI video tools, assembled with original narration and a custom score, and published 9:16 vertical from the first frame — never cropped from a wider shot. Every battle is hand-finished. We won't ship one that doesn't earn it.
Who decides who wins?
Humans, not algorithms. Every call is grounded in real biology — body-mass and locomotion, anatomy, hunt-and-defend behaviour from peer-reviewed field studies, terrain advantage, who gets to choose the engagement. Some matchups are obvious from anatomy alone. Most come down to terrain, timing, or the moment one fighter forces the fight on its own ground. We publish our reasoning alongside every battle so readers can read the call and disagree if the evidence points another way.
Where does 'home' and 'away' come from?
Each fighter has a native habitat. The battle is staged inside the home fighter's habitat. The tiger fights in the Sundarbans. The giant anteater fights in the Pantanal. Terrain familiarity becomes a real tactical advantage.
What is the WYLD framework?
W = Water, Y = skY, L = Land, D = Diverse (multi-environment). Every habitat belongs to one of these four. It spells WYLD, which is the brand. The home fighter's WYLD class determines the arena.
Is this for kids?
Yes — and for everyone else too. Wyld Rivals is built for all ages, globally. Combat sequences are resolved cinematically, not gorily. Conservation status appears on every fighter card. The goal: anyone who falls in love with these species — kids, parents, grandparents — leaves knowing which ones are endangered and why.
